This Rajasthan trekking itinerary has been specially designed by our team with the local support to give you a real feel of the culture of Rajasthan and the life in the rural India.

Day 1: Welcome to Delhi
Welcome to the political and Cultural Capital of India … Delhi. Traditional welcome at the airport by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Day free to relax, get over the jet lag and enjoy the night life in Delhi. Contemporary Delhi is a bustling Metropolis which successfully combines in its fold The Ancient & The Modern India.

Day 2: Delhi – Udaipur (By Air)
After a leisurely breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President's House, Red fort, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial and also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. In the evening we take a flight to Udaipur. Night stay at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 3: Udaipur
Morning city sight seeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. We also checkout the shilpgram, an imitation of the Rajasthani village structures and a tribute to the craftsmen of Rajasthan. Rest of the day at leisure and night stay at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 4: Udaipur - Bera
After breakfast we check out of the hotel and proceed on road by car to Bera. On arrival in the afternoon check in to the hotel and get yourself ready for a wildlife Safari in the mystic country side of Bera where you will be able to spot leopards, hyenas and Nilgai. In the evening enjoy dinner with the cultural Programme by the local musician.

Day 5: Bera - Saira
Today we go for an early morning wild life safari viewing crocodiles and migratory birds. Morning tea at Jawai Dam and proceed back to the resort for breakfast. Check out of the hotel and proceed on road by car to Saira. On arrival check in to the jungle resort. In the evening relax and enjoy a great barbeque dinner with bon fire.

Day 6: Saira - Ranakpur
Today we will be trekking through the reserve forest area which is also very interesting for bird watching. On our way we will be passing through some small tribal villages and then carry on to reach the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. Ranakpur is widely known for its marble Jain temple, and for a much older Sun Temple which lies opposite the former. In general, the Jain temples of Ranakpur present a distinct style of their own. The ceilings of the temples are adorned with foliate scrollwork and geometric patterns. After visiting the temple we will trek back to our hotel, around 4 km from the temple. Overnight at the jungle resort in Saira.

Day 7: Saira – Kumbhalgarh
After breakfast we will start trek from the resort to Kumbhalgarh. After few Kms we start an upward trek towards Kumbhalgarh. Around halfway mark we will have our packed lunch and after resting for a while we carry on our walk through the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Trekking through the reserve forest area explore the interesting flora and fauna of the region spotting the wildlife like the nilgai, deer, monkeys and hyna and also some rare species of birds. We reach the hotel well before sunset so that we can freshen-up and visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort which is walking distance from the hotel. Set amidst a cluster of thirteen mountain peaks of the Aravali range, the formidable medieval citadel of Kumbhalgarh Fort stands a wary sentinel to the past glory of its kings and princes. The huge complex of the Fort has numerous palaces, temples and gardens making it more magnificent.

Day 8: Kumbhalgarh - Ghanerao
Today after breakfast we will check out of the hotel and start our trek to Ghanerao. Today we will be going down the hill for most of our trek. And stop over for packed lunch at Crocodile Lake (Thandi Beri). It is a beautiful lake in the middle of the reserve area of Kumbhalgarh. After lunch we go through some small tribal settlements and fields where we can see the locals working in there fields and the Shepherds grazing their camels and cattle. We reach Castle Ghanerao a family home of the local nobles Overnight at the hotel in Ghanerao. 

Day 9: Ghanerao - Sumer
This morning we trek through some very picturesque villages, lakes and ponds. We get a good chance to peep into the local culture and life of the region. We stop over for packed lunch. After lunch we trek through a very rich forest area and can expect to see some local wildlife. We reach the camp well in time to settle down before its dark. Overnight at the camp and dinner under the star lit night at the camp.

Day 10: Sumer - Auwa
After breakfast we drive to Auwa, our days destination. Here one can relax and enjoy a message from the local masseurs and take a walk in the local market which is full of colour, fabrics, jewellery, leather shoes etc.. Overnight at the hotel in Auwa.

Day 10: Auwa - Jodhpur
Check out of the hotel and drive to Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur check in to the hotel and in the afternoon proceed for the city tour of Jodhpur which will include The Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. The Mehrangarh fort of Rajasthan is situated on a lofty height, 400 feet above the city, and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its territorial boundaries, there are several palaces, which are known for their intricate carvings and sprawling courtyards.

Day 11: Jodhpur - Pushkar
After breakfast, leave for Pushkar and enroute visit the famous Dargah Shariff, Shah Jahan's mosque and Taragarh fort at Ajmer. On arrival in Pushkar check in to the hotel and go for an evening Camel Safari to the dunes.

Day 12: Pushkar - Jaipur  (145 km from Jaipur, 2-3 hrs drive)
After breakfast, visit the Brahma temple (said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this deity) Pushkar Lake, Man Mahal and Savitri temple. After lunch proceed to Jaipur.  On arrival in Jaipur check in to the hotel.

Day 13: Jaipur
Full day sightseeing of Jaipur which includes places of interest like the City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort. The steep approach to the Amber Palace gives you an opportunity to enjoy an elephant ride up the hill like a King and a Queen with a scintillating view of the lake below surrounded by hills. Late evening free for shopping. On at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 14: Jaipur - Delhi
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi and check in to the hotel. In the evening get ready to explore Delhi, the shoppers paradise and handicrafts of India. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 15: Depart Delhi
Transfer to the Airport to board your flight back Home or Onward destination.
